Fun and playful…but oh-so practical

Dusi 2017

Dear Clint,

Hope you are keeping well.

Here are some photos from my recent trip to climb Mt Elbrus.

As you will see, the climb was successful and I wish to thank you and your team for the part you played in making it possible for me. As you know, I still had some tendonitis right up until setting out for Russia but your assurance that I would not be causing any further damage by pushing on through and/or nullifying the pain with meds was most reassuring.

Funnily enough, at the end of day one, which involved a lot of slipping and falling on the steep descent of our first acclimatization hike, everything felt worse but magically, by the start of day three, all my symptoms has completely disappeared and I still remain free from any discomfort.

I definitely couldn’t have undertaken the trip without your assistance and wish to once again thank you for the time and effort you spent in getting me to the point where I could stop worrying about the niggling pain and could concentrate completely on putting one foot in front of the other.

Best Wishes – Clive
